During a property evaluation for an office owner in Orange, I conducted a site walk with the owner to assess potential landscape and tree-related concerns.
During the inspection, I identified a large pine tree with branches making contact with the building. The tree’s root system was also encroaching toward the structure, creating concerns regarding potential property damage. Additionally, I recommended the removal of another large pine tree due to several risk factors. The tree had substantial limbs extending over a public roadway and sidewalk, creating a potential liability hazard. The tree was also extremely top-heavy and exhibited signs of root plate failure, with evidence that it was beginning to uproot under its own weight.
After reviewing these concerns, the property owner agreed with the recommendations and approved the removals. The work was scheduled and completed within the same week.
The project included the removal of an approximately 85-foot pine tree and a smaller 30-foot pine tree located adjacent to the building. Following the removals, the stump was ground out and removed. The area will be restored with new sod installation to return the site to a clean and finished condition.
